Capital Expenditure

Capital Expenditure is expenditure on equipment or assets that will depreciate over a period of time, and which - typically - represents an investment in the infrastructure of the firm (e.g. a building, factory or other physical asset) that will be productive, or support productive operations, for a long period of time.
